Amber Hotel - Gdansk

Amber was a lovely hotel. It was clean and the beds were super comfy. The staff was friendly, especially the reception, who helped me recover my daughter's lost passport. The hotel also has a nice spa area with saunas and loungers, perfect for relaxation after a day out.

Easy check-in, parking on site. Exceptionally comfortable bed, clean bathroom and flat-screen TV, a seating area and ironing facilities in the room.

the airport bus does not stop at bus stop by pond its the stop further up

The really good customer service made us feel valued, and the spacious bathroom with a jacuzzi was a good surprise during our stay.

Is not a 5 stars Hotel but as 3 Start is clean,close to the Centre,the peoples is very nice and helpful.I advice this Hotel

Greatly enjoyed the hotel, it is ideal and fairly clean, has good location away from town center. Location: the venue was not far from supermarkets, the potters shops and amber shops and the airport by bus. Plus it was 5 mins drive from Staw Cyganka.

Super comfy stay with great help!

Had a lovely family time! The staff was super helpful when we needed to find local spots, and the breakfast spread was really good. Our room was clean and spacious. Only bummer was that we had to wait a bit for a taxi to town, but that was no biggie. Perfect for a cozy getaway!

Great breakfast with excellent coffee. Lacked air conditioning and soundproofing, though.

Very comfortable, quiet room. Excellent breakfast buffet. Very pleasant, efficient and helpful staff.

No facility in room for hot drinks. No room safe. No separate lounge/quiet sitting area, apart from the small amount of seating at reception. The TV.s in the dining room. We also thought it was a little closer to the city centre, but the bus service was fine and frequent.

Amber Hotel offered good value for money.Lovely clean and impressive rooms. A good location for City Breaks if you don't mind the walk into the old town. (25 mins)

A hidden gem in Gdansk

The spacious rooms offered a cozy ambiance, while the breakfast selection impressed with its variety. The staff were genuinely great.

I did notice a lack of air conditioning, which could be uncomfortable in warmer months. Noise from the hallway occasionally disrupted my privacy.

It was quiet, the staff there can speak english well. The quality of the food served there is good.

No air conditioning/heating facilities which makes living during the summer and winter more unconfortable than it needs to be. The breakfast buffet is rather limited especially on warm dishes (at least serve more than 3 options). The hotel resturaunt is understaffed with waiters/waitress' with only one managing the entire resturaunt, it would be better to have one managing the check out and one handling the tables. The location is poor, requiring to take public transport or walking a mile to any points of interest. I personally chose this hotel as it was closest to the University, On my first night there was a party that lasted till 5am, I was not notified about it, and caused my first night of sleep there lacking. And had the thought of leaving if the second night would be the same. Every time my room was made up, the cleaners forgot to replace the shower gell, shampoo bottles every time. The tv programs provided are not aimed at international visitors, all but one are in Polish.

The hotel was very clean, very good food served.

Staff not very pleasent, no food available when restaurant is booked for a wedding.
